All I remember from the "finale" was that it was one of the worst send-offs for a great show ever.
I think Kelso retired earlier in that season. Anyone know if he's coming back?

Donald Faison says that it will be the same show, following the same storylines as they started last season.
It shouldn't be news to anyone, and if it is, I apolgize, but Courtney Cox's role will be the new Chief of Medicine, since Kelso was forced to retire.

In the sneak peaks I've seen Kelso still in the show, seems to basically torment Ted. So same show plus Courtney Cox-Arquette

I saw something on the net about this. Fans of the show will remember Kelso won muffins for life from the Coffeebucks store, according to the producer, he'll be hanging around eating muffins.
The producer also said that he thought that the quality of the show really fell off last season, and he expects this season to be as good as it has ever been.
Of course, that could all be lip service.
He also said, the Janitor gets married and Ted finds happiness at last.
