I didn't say that I couldn't...just that it would require some effort on the part of the movie/director to MAKE Batman more like the cartoon and less "human" in order to fit in. If they do that (and they may, I'm certainly not ruling it out) then I think you could feel like Batman belongs in the same way he feels like he can in the cartoons. If they just make him a guy, then it will be really hard to explain his usefulness and he may look as out of place as Black Widow did standing next to Hulk with a pistol taking on giant worms from outer space.

Nor do I...it'll likely be more of a standoff. My issue isn't so much addresses him fighting Superman so much as simply being useful physically in a similar way as he is portrayed in the comics and cartoons. Stark is, like Batman, just a rich, smart dude. The difference is when Iron Man he is ALWAYS wearing a suit of armor that allows him to stand toe to toe with super-humans. Bats, usually, doesn't do that...and he still basically finds a way to hold his own. So it's not him fighting Supes I'm talking about...but being truly useful in a universe with Darkseid or Thanagarians, etc.

If they are committed to doing what is necessary to make that a reality on film (like you said, make him basically superhuman) then cool...I'm excited.
