I'll give you Walking Dead, but all the white characters in GOT have English accents. It makes sense that they are English.
Peterdinklage and King Robert are both American actors that used a fake British accent in GOT

Yep. I mean it's much easier for Brits to use an English accent as opposed to Americans using a british one too. Check out this Emilia Clarke interview on Kimmel if you haven't seen it...

Her facial expressions outside of GOT are so distracting
Got stuck watching me before you with a chick and I swear it was like her face was having a stroke the entire film

And had an iffy American accent on his CBS sitcom.

Yeah Dinklage is the only American lead in the show I believe. I can't think of anyone else.

“There are a lot of black British actors in these movies,” Jackson said. “I tend to wonder what that movie [Get Out] would have been with an American brother who really feels that.
Is he saying that there is no racism in the UK?

Fixed it.
And they are. I don't know what is going on? Are they cheaper - not part of a union - is Hollywood filming most movies in London?
Because from the Star Wars reboots to everything on TV and Netflix originals.
It's all fricking Brits.

A serious backlash has started in America, with film-making heavyweights such as the actor and producer Michael Douglas and the director Spike Lee calling for an urgent rethink in the industry.
The resistance movement has been growing since January when Richard Hicks, president of the Casting Society of America, pointed out that a search for new faces had become an epidemic.
“I went to see a movie,” he told Entertainment Weekly “and four casting directors were sitting around talking about, ‘What’s up with all the Brits and Australian actors snagging all the leads?
In the American magazine the Atlantic last week the film critic Terrence Rafferty argued that homegrown young men had lost the ability to take acting seriously. “Crisis or not, this is getting embarrassing,” he wrote.’”
There had been an earlier suggestion that perhaps British actors came cheaper than their US counterparts, but this was shot down when it emerged that Laurie was paid $18m (£11.5m) for his stint in the medical drama House.

Been saying the same thing about white British actors for the last few years. Jackson actually sheds some light on why this is happening, though. I had heard that Brits and Aussies were cheaper than American actors but I did not know anything about the agents being better and actors being classically trained.
I strongly disagree with Jackson on a lot of the things he says, but he is dead on on this subject. It is an absolute shame that a Brit played MLK just as it is an absolute shame a Brit has played the likes of Lincoln and Jefferson.

We can just agree to disagree here. I want the best actor for the job. Period. Black, white, American, non-American.

Can you find any young black kids trying to be actors? I'm assuming they aren't out there in droves.
