Any else think the man in the white with the cape was Tarkin? It looked like Ben Mendelsohn playing the character. I could definitely see him pulling off a younger version of Tarkin. Also, it showed what looked like Vader with his back to us walking toward a beam of light in the very next shot from the trailer.

I'm not worried about this movie. They showed us very little from the trailer. I'm expecting Vader to go complete bad arse and force rip throats out or something completely beast mode in this movie. And depending on when during those 30 years between RotS and ANH, Felicity Jones could very well turn out to be related to Rey.

Pumped up to see Tarkin in action. I assume that was him in the white cape. He is a badass. Anyone who hasn't read Tarkin in the new canon should pick it up before they see this.

i think it's the fact that we just had a remake of episode 4 with a female lead banking on nostalgia...and this is a prequel with a female lead banking on nostalgia. it's kind of a "the luster has worn off and they're just doing the same shite all over again"

I agree.

TFA marketing campaign was secretive and based on nostalgia and" star wars is back, check it out".

They did extremely well, the movie was awesome, and it brought Star Wars back.

This seems like a rehash and that's annoying to me. They should've focused more on the Empire or Tarkin or something. Or maybe just started the trialer with a different scene. The opening scene of the trialer having the slow Star Wars music and a female lead who is scrappy and rebellious and been on her own for a long time was a very repetitious call back.
