Watch the German miniseries "Generation War"

It was really good. I definitely recommend, but I'm not sure that OP would like it given that he has crap taste.

Just joking... kind of.

Who compares Fury to Band of Brothers? The only thing they have in common is world war 2

Just finished a full watch through of Band of Brothers, having only seen an episode here or there. To be honest I wasn't that impressed. The story moved slow and a lot of the characters were rather dull or predictable. I would have loved more as well from the German side but I gather it was strictly about the Airborne guys. Great WW2 piece/documentary type show, but not the great all time TV series some make it out to be. I'm sure I'm in the minority on that.

Frankly as I have told Marciano1 on a few occasions, I enjoyed "Fury" more than Band of Brothers.

What are you, some sort of fricking communist?

You didn't even mention Ronald fricking Speirs and his 37 pound balls.

The OP is a troll. Has to be.

There is no way someone can have such bad taste and be sincere.

They aren't "characters" and it wasn't some fiction that a writer drew up.

You didn't even mention Jimmy Fallon warning them of all the Panzers, Tigers, and Shtukas

If this isn't a troll, I feel sorry for you. Like just total pity. It's unfortunate.

If it is a troll, I also feel sorry for you, but because you are a retard.

There were some good moments, seeing Jimmy Fallon was like WTF and my boy James Macavoy I was like hell yeah. And I love history, got my Bachelors in it, enjoyed the part before every episode about the real war from the real guys. Other than that it was slow and not as entertaining as I would have liked. It's just a decent TV series, it ain't the Wire as some would make it out to be.

Ask Marciano1, I also found There Will Be Blood, aside from the milkshake scene, to be just horribly awful.

The main difference in Band of Brothers and Fury is in reality the characters in Fury were nothing like the soldiers of WWII.

Winters and all the soldiers who helped and advised on BOB were going to walk off the show when the script called for bad language to be used, like they all said you never knew when your time was going to be up and they tried to stay right with God. All the bad language for the most part was taken out of the show.

Winters and most of the men where regular church goers during the time in England and would go to services when they could in the field.

Winters was a track and field team member in college and the show leaves out much on many of the real life actions about his ability to out run all his men.

Fury other than the fire to take out the German defensive line is a waste, the last battle would have been over as soon as 1 German hit the tank with a panzerfaust. Funny they showed many of them in line marching with a PF only to have one shot one much later in the action.
