I've got the house to myself. I'm under the weather. It has been storming a good bit.

Looking for a dark and stormy mystery...maybe a movie based in England...or a good thriller movie. Not really trying to dabble into a horror film tonight, but something eerie though.

I guess cause I saw it recently I immediately thought of Prisoners, that movie is fantastic. But I assume you mean on Netflix/Prime steaming:

The Guest (2014) - "Boasting enough intelligence to bolster its darkly violent thrills, The Guest offers another treat for genre fans from director Adam Wingard" - RT

The girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Basically anything with David Fincher directing it

Another vote for Gone Girl. It seems to fit your requirements.

Interesting cast. Is this any good?

I assume Sean Bean dies.
