This season has been really good
I dunno. Seems like it's pretty much completely scripted now.

Now? That show has been scripted since Season 2. It's the epitome of stupid TV. I loathe RW because it spawned the "reality" TV generation. Nothing "real" about any of that shite. It is ALL scripted and i think you are all stupid who watch it.
I hate it that much, that my opinions of others go down if i find out they watch stupid shite like this.

define scripted? very vague comment
They talk to producers about what to do/where to go and producers may ask them leading questions in the confessional, but it's far from "scripted"
The main issue usually is the editing. In the case, I guess it's scripted because they manipulate the time element. I know for a fact some episodes will be like a week's worth of events but they will make it seems like all the drama happened in one day.

Watching ep. 2. Tom and Cory are insecure douche idiots. Tat girl is sweet but dumb for chasing tom around. Jenny is not much better for getting entangled with Cory, but she seeeeems like she isn't willing to put up with his shite. Ashley is evil and disingenuous. DJ Guido seems like a good dude, as does black model.

Well, holy hell. Dare I say the third episode was actually.......good?
This Jay guy seems like the most likeable real world cast member that I can remember. His unfailing niceness is almost too good to be true.
He was even nice to Ashley. I think this episode hit me because of the 1-2 gut punch of jays mom dying and the footage of Ashley ripping up his phone numbers. I remember thinking earlier "well, they must have.footage of the numbers getting torn up, right?" And then, boom, they show it right at the most gut wrenching time.
Whoever is editing this season is doing a masterful job. It is absolute perfection in storytelling. Is it scripted? At this point I don't give a shite. This is good tv to me now.
Ashley is such a magnificent villain. She tore up jays numbers for NO REASON. Inexplicable evil the scariest kind.
Then, the remaining characters told her to kick rocks. Good job. It actually made me hate tom and Cory a little less. It seemed the roomies were a family fighting an unspeakable evil.
Rankings:
1. Jay- dude is the brother I wish I had
2. Arielle
3. Tat girl
4. Jenny- maybe I'm a sucker for thick blondes that are into mulattoes, but that dancing scene definitely made me change my sitting position. Shoulda slapped insecure Cory.
5. Tom - dude wears his "I've only fricked three girls" thing like a badge of honor but we all know it makes him self concious. He came off better in ep. 3 tho
6. Corydouche- his reaction to jays mom dying was slamming a chair. Dude dies without having all the attention.
7. Ashley- a disgrace to san Francisco, my fave city. SF would be wise to tie her to a rocket and blast her into the troposphere. count.
