It's really the only thing in Season 5 worth a damn. Really all the rest of the episodes go in the bottom half (with the exception of the finale). It fricked up just about everything not related to Jon and Cersei. Dorne was an abortion. Barristan was killed defending fricking Grey Worm. LF marries Sansa off to the Bastard of Bolton. It is without question the worst season, and Hardhome is not enough to redeem it.

im surprised to see so many people that like season 2. Maybe i need to rewatch it but i thought it was the second weakest season behind 5.
Arya at Harrenhal and dany at Qarth were a total drag.

Dany finally riding Drogon was pretty cool, although she kind of just left them to fend for themselves

Season 2 I think is very consistent and doesn't devolve into bullshite plots.

she did have some great banter with tywin, but i disagree about it being her best season. The hound grooming her to become "the professional" was worthy of its own spin-off.

9/10 of Season 6 are two of the best consecutive episodes in any series ever. Up there with 4/5 of True Detective Season 1 for me. But I didn't think Season 6 was as strong overall as the earlier seasons.

The Starks were at their lowest at this point.Every season above it has the Starks at least in the fight somehow...even though season 3 ended badly for them

fricking false, man, some of the best scenes in the show were with Tywin and Arya.
Season 2 had the War of the Five Kings and Robb at his apex.Plus, Jon was going North of the Wall.
Season 2 was awesome.
