Sexual predator? Not even close. Daniel is the one harassing Ali at the arcade when she keeps walking away and her friends even tell him to scram. By most accounts, John was active in the school...we see him blowing up balloons for the Halloween dance and getting along and helping out, while all Daniel did was creep on Ali from the doorway.

And Daniel got his arse kicked immediately after his hose stunt, and one of the next things to happen was Miyagi taking him to the Cobra Kai dojo and getting Kreese to get his kids to hold off from kicking Daniel's arse until the tournament.

And what happens almost immediately after Miyagi got them off of his arse? \He starts taunting them at school and basically begging for an asskicking.

Nah. Like I said, it was only to make John jealous. If she liked him, she would have helped him out at the club when he was embarrassed and covered in spaghetti. But she couldn't because she was ashamed of him because he was a poor loser who she didn't want to associate in public with (unless it was to piss John off). Let's not forget that she also only forgave him after seeing that he had a brand new classic car. And after watching the beach scene again, it pisses me off that she just sees John and his friends coming and straight up kicks the ball far away to make Daniel go fetch it. All she had to do was be like "Hey, um..that's my ex and we are on and off...just chill out for a minute and don't try to get involved" and most of the bullshite could've been avoided (provided Danielsan didn't try to interfere with the radio). Plus, all Ali had to do was talk to John, whom she obviously still had feelings for, and the beach situation wouldn't have gotten so out of hand. I love how after kicking Danielsan's arse, John tells her "This is your fault."

I get that you're defensive of Daniel..I mean, you're Mr. Freaking Miyagi for chrissakes. But you're off on this one...Daniel was a giant pussy smartass and was always showing his arse in a new town and at a new school.
