‘Prison Break’ Sequel Officially A Go at Fox

Dana Walden and Gary Newman, co-chairmen and CEOs at Fox Television Group, told journalists the news on Thursday at Fox’s Television Critics Association panel. They also confirmed that original series stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell, as well as other original series actors, are also on board for the 10-episode project, which Walden called “a bit of a sequel.”
She added that show creator Paul Scheuring “is writing it now” and it “picks up a few years after” the first series finale ended and “addresses questions that were set up during the series.”
This news might be confusing to devout fans of the show who watched the straight-to-video film finale and therefore have questions about the casting news.
“[Paul has] a very detailed and incredible story for while these characters become relevant again,” said Newman, while Walden added that there is a “logical and believable explanation in the world of ‘Prison Break.'”

Just watched for the first time on Netflix with my wife (who watched it when it first came out and was a fan). It definitely kept my attention, but it wasn't that great.
I can't make past the first season though. Turns into hot garbage.

No doubt. It's only flaw is that it gets you so addicted to the characters that you have to watch the next 3 seasons.
I actually enjoy season 2 though. After that, it gets bad..

Michael escapes from heaven? I was one of the few who enjoyed season 3 but season 4 was god awful.

Season 1 was awesome. Top 10 season in tv history for me.
Season 2 was decent, worth watching.
After that, meh. Not unwatchable but not worth the time to watch.
