I would love it if each one of them had a hint of Lovecraftian occult running in the background. Then they could end the series with the old ones showing up and devouring the earth.

Perhaps each series would be our hero detective "little Priest" thwarting the acolytes efforts to open the portal to Carcossa. In the last episode of the last series, the Acolyte would succeed and the old ones come pouring through.

Would really make me happy, but I am a little weird.

If this anything like the first season, I am sure it will be great.

IT'S ABOUT THE CHARACTERS. IT'S A CHARACTER STUDY. THE STORY IS A MERE VEHICLE TO STUDY THE CHARACTERS

This. Maybe now that people know what to expect, they either won't watch it or not be disappointed. It's not a show for someone expecting Lost.

The Illuminati love gridlock.

It's true.

I hope every season deals with the same cult. Murders that seem unrelated and scattered across the country to the people in the show and the viewers learn a little more about the cult each season.

The ongoing Satanism/Occult thing almost seems like a joke. I wouldn't be very happy if I were a Satanist.

Will they have a former UCLA baseball player who is now living in an impoverished environment?

I soon as I read that it will involve the occult again I knew you would be in here hating

it sounds like an interesting plot with lots of cool ways to go about it...until you see the random occult entry again

after spending approximately 95% of their comments about the show up to the very end about the mystery and not the characters

the 5% was for the characters

Occult that for some reason is protected all the way to the top, with everyone involved being baptist leaders.

Caspar’s 52-year-old corpse is found on a lonely stretch of the PCH near Big Sur - his eye burned out, genitals cut off and satanic symbols etched on his chest. It turns out he had a penchant for rough sex and may have been involved in the occult.

Can't wait to never find out what this is all about..

I have faith that it'll be good. However, I think we should look at it separately from the first season. In other words, expect good things but not the greatness of season 1.

See, Im the opposite. Im hoping for better than the 1st season. I liked the show, it was pretty good but not great IMO. A little overrated but I think could be better this season.
