the version for Wii was just ok. The biggest flaw being that it was really difficult to turn around.

I bought it when it came out. I played through it and enjoyed it. They expanded on the levels a lot. Don't expect it to be like the original, but for $20 I'd buy it again.

I'd say he was lucky...goldeneye was very good for a variety of reasons and one of those is a solid performance by piers, but he didn't make the movie
in fact, had he never had that material to work with, he'd be considered the 2nd worst bond imo (moore takes the cake)
the most underrated is Dalton and he's my 3rd favorite behind connery and craig...bond is supposed to be a physical guy...moore and brosnan certainly didn't fit the profile I've always had in my mind

Am I the only person who loves Tomorrow Never Dies? The Chinese chick is awesome. Teri Hatcher?
Tomorrow Never Dies is one of my favorites. It is probably the Bond film that got me into Bond. I thought it was a fun story also.
Brosnan would have done really well with these new movies. It stinks that he had to make Die Another Day and The World is Not Enough.

I catch a lot of hell for this but Moore is my favorite Bond.
Same here. Well, I don't catch hell for it but I know it is a minority opinion. Moore was Bond when I first started watching the movies so I guess I just equate him with the character.
Anybody remember the Dean Martin secret agent character? I think his name was Matt Helm. The tone of that movie was somewhere between James Bond and Austin Powers I think.

He killed it for me...

Brosnan is just too stiff for me. Has none of the Bond cool/charisma. He is perfect physically though.

I agree. He had the right stuff for the part and Goldeneye proved what an inspired choice he was. The rest were crap but I thought Brosnan salvaged what were otherwise glorified commercials. I’d love for EON to cast another choice like Brosnan who could balance the Bond traits so well but with more inspired scripts after his debut. I loved Casino Royale and Skyfall but Craig never really rang true for me as James Bond. I’m able to look past his casting in those 2 because they had great scripts, direction and villains and they managed to make Craig work because of that. He doesn’t have the right looks, which is actually important for the role. Craig also didn’t seem to enjoy the role very much and was too brutish and not suave and lacked finesse to make the weaker material in his 3 more mediocre movies work better.

Pierce Brosnan really got screwed over as James Bond
Without a doubt, he did.
As James Bond the character, you could argue he was the best.
Daniel Craig had potential until his Bond was turned into a complete fricking headcase.
But by far, the best portrayal of Bond came from Roger Moore in Live and let die for one reason and one reason only. He popped Jane Seymour's cherry in that movie. The first, last and only Bond to deflower a Bond girl and the hottest Bond girl at that.
Boss frickin' move right there boys.

Brosnan was fantastic he for sure got fricked over by the writers.
Love Goldeneye tho.

And its also a shame because iirc there was a big push for Bosnian to play Bond for a long time but contractual obligations with Remington Steele prevented it for many years. Iirc.

Brosnan was always t.v. cheese Remington Steele and he got the worst scripts so i can't rank him high. Not his fault though:
1. Sean Connery easily the best.
2. Roger Moore i still remember watching his movies in the theater. He stayed too long.
3. Timothy Dalton he was a great change of pace after Moore's crap at the end.
4. Pierce Brosnan based on his performances not the overall movies.
5. George Lazenby was probably underrated as was his movie but only did one.
6. David Niven only one movie and it was a comedy but still better than...
7. Daniel Craig whining bitch who only had one decent movie.

I really would have liked to have seen Pierce brought on board for the two movies that Dalton said simply because it was supposed to be him. The more serious tone of TLD and LTK really did not sit well with viewers and Dalton was blasted unjustly for it. The AIDS epidemic at the time changed the character (really for the better) but the audience was still to entrenched in the over-saturation of the gadgets and the girls...plus, many of them had been burned by George Lazenby's one and done outing, which really is one of the best Bond films overall.
ABC absolutely screwed Pierce over and, as much as I enjoyed Remington Steele growing up, I feel like both he and we as Bond fans missed out.
