What do y'all think of this? Never heard of this. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

I don't know a lot about the series, but I fully believe in Pete. He just needs to go back to his roots and not rely on cgi and flash so much. Focus on the story and the characters like the original LOTR trilogy.

I would love it if he did another horror movie.

Is it bad I was hoping the word "dune" was in this post?

I don't care for his vision on movies... but dune needs to be done with modern effects and as a movie series

Yeah...he maybe should go home.

He did his thing (made a gazzilion $ with LOTR) - take your toys and profits and go home like Lucas did and should have remained home.

I mean, King Kong was everything that's bad about current movies and then nothing improved much with the Hobbit. It's like he peaked and just got more crazy with CGI and less with storylines.

But Heavenly Creatures was a great movie. Unfortunately that was made forever ago with Kate Winslet and there's no CGI and unfortunately there's a real subversive story that must be told - so muddles things and gets in the way of whatever he probably wanted to do.

Great respect for Peter Jackson but that doesn't sound like something I would be interested in.

Love LOTR, liked King Kong, liked his horror work, still have not forgiven him for the Hobbit movies.

What was wrong with King Kong? You wanted a puppet instead of CGI?

After reading a synopsis of what this series is about it's probably going to force him to go even further with the CGI.

No thanks.
