Haven't seen it since I was a kid either. All I really remember is the Ramones song.

I remember having nightmares of this bitch. Such a freaky scene when she comes up to the camera like that

One of my favorites. I saw it at the theater when I was a kid at Siegen. It was a late showing and I was the only person in there. Creepy as all shite.

The kid - Gage - is John Hughes' son, I believe. He also was the kid in Wes Craven's New Nightmare. I wonder how mentally tough he is now.

Not the John Hughes you're thinking about.

My favorite horror movie of all time, not just because of the sentimental value of loving it as a kid. And yea, Zelda was scary as shite.

Had a sleepover for a birthday party shortly after this movie came on VHS and my Dad freaked the shite out of all us by going outside and scratching on the window screaming "Zeldaaaa". great times

I saw this movie at a drive-in theater when I was about 10. I think it's still the only drive-in I've ever been to. My parents were in the care while my friend and I sat on a blanket outside and watched. I'm still freaked out by that experience. I was fricking 10! Damn parents.

Read the book. I read it at work but I remember saying I wouldn't have been able to read it by myself
