What's the verdict on this show?

Is this ok for a guy to watch or is just a chick flick type of show? Heard good things buts it's a big investment

I've enjoyed it. It isn't the greatest show in the world, but acting has been good, some good action here and there, naked women. What more do you need?

It's not bad. Production values and acting are pretty good, a good amount of nice boobies, and you'll get laid a lot.

Definitely worth watching with a spouse or s/o. I've read the books. Don't get me wrong, the target audience is definitely females, but the show is not feminine by any means.

Oh god yes

Not sure what I'd compare it to. Maybe something like Tudors, but much more gritty. I mean its about a woman who is transported to 1700's Scotland. The show isn't about rainbows and pixie dust. If you like GoT, Black Sails, etc, you'll be able to find enough in the show to hold your attention, and your wife will love it. Win-Win.

lots of fighting and nudity. Season 1 finale was a little too violent for me and tough to watch.
