I am really pulling for Kent now since his secret should be safe for the whole rest of the game now (no way he tells anybody IMO)
I am just still in shock nobody else recognized him and the only one who did didn't say anything before getting voted out

I thought Penner knew who he was. Maybe I am missing that but I could have sworn that when the two of them were talking while fishing that Kent fessed up.

I do not think he did, but you may be right. What I recall of the intial conversation was the 4-finger handshake and Kent still being unsure about Penner. And Penner fessing up about having the idol. The fishing trip is vague to me, but I know the blonde emo kid was with them as well. So if Penner knows, the emo kid knows.
I like Kent because a "famous" person is actually going out there to play the game, not just for the "experience".
I cannot stand the young engineer on Skupin's tribe. Way too cocky. Bad move on his part too telling Malcolm about the idol.

I am with you man. Jeff played a solid game, but he let the returning player winning be his downfall. He completely screwed the pooch last week by going aginst Penner when his side had the numbers. Penner is/would have been a good guy for Jeff to have around because he is always a target and would not win in the end against anyone else. I knew last week he made a mistake but I did not think it would bite him this week.
Tribal was really good last night. I was pulling for the Facts of Life lady too, but last night I had no idea what was going through her head.

That tribal was crazy as hell. By the end, I think people no longer knew who they were suppose to vote for.
Jeff Kent screwed himself last week. His tribe was ready to stick together and could have gotten Scupin and RC. Instead, Kent wanted to make sure Penner didn't win and ended up screwing himself.
ETA: I started typing this earlier this morning, then got pulled into a meeting. By the time I submitted, someone else had made the point.
Malcolm made a cool move at the tribal. Pull out the idol and tell evryone you're playing it, then don't play it.
Of course, now he has to play it next time.

BTW, looking at this thread and comparing it against the Big Brother threads, is it safe to say Survivor is in decline? Anyone have ratings? The Big Brother threads, spoiler had over 100 pages and non-spoiler was 30+, where way more involved than this one.

yeah , i caught that. Although i think i remember looking at his salary over the years and thought it was closer to $100m.
i watch both survivor and big brother. i think the last survivor season turned a lot of people off. So, yeah it's probably in decline.

It's funny, I cannot even remember who was on last season. Yet, I could tell you every thing that happened in BB in the past couple of years. Maybe a testament to how forgettable the seasons have been lately.
I appreciate the link too, but I think it goes back to how I feel about Survivor. I watch because, well, because I have seen them all. I do not find myself getting attached like I used too.

Yup. He made the move too soon and cost him the game.
Sucks because I hate that trio that seems to be running things. All three of them are miserable people that unfortunately are going to stick around the whole thing because everyone wants to go against them in the jury.

you know 1st time I saw Penner I was like "I know that guy from some where" and even told my wife he was in a movie called down periscope. So this season I think the exact same thing....knew I was right

Me either. Looks like he has quite the resume as an actor. I wonder why that has never been brought up. It says he is married to a director so that probably helps.
Penner has always came across as a very smart and well-spoken guy, and to be honest, he is probably who I am pulling for now. His accent is the thing that kills me at times.
