but to seriously answer your question it does seem like a plausible scenario. with the old walter trying to come out and now that nina is not there to cut his brain up again he may have to kill himself to stop the man he used to be

Hope they all live, but I say yes he does die.

eta: BA is probably gonna come with a response pointing out moments in random episodes and give us a thorough intelligent response.
BA = OJ

The reason Nina was willing to save herself for the better good, is because the child showed her that she wasn't needed to take Walter's brain out.. in my opinion.
Walter now has a fully healed brain, everything, from the past, to the present, to different timelines to different realities.. he will still be our Walter, without being that walter, he is now the "perfect" Walter. With the love for everything, but the knowledge of the past.
Basically.. the Observer child turned Walter back into the Walter I thought we were going to see this season, before Winmark was a dick..
--
As for Walter dying, I will not make a preemptive decision on this one, but I actually believe we have seen the "sacrifice to save everyone" scenario play out.. at the end of season 3 when Peter erased himself from reality. I don't think Walter ends up sacrificing himself, just simply because we've already seen that scenario play out.

yeah, don't think so.
This episode answered a bunch, actually allowing my mind to rest a bit, because there was no need to really look "back" after this episode to try and decipher anything.. was just.. an amazing episode.

I think WOW describes this ep perfectly. I wonder if this is what JJ was talking about when he said he had written the ending, long
ago?
ago?

Yes, and it's obvious even more that even in the first season they were hinting at the ending they had planned all along.

Olivia said the plan is going to reset time...if they don't end up back in the park with little Etta I'll be shocked. But, I think we've thought this for a while.
And BA is OJ...haha

have you been watching the previews this season?
in the previews they always put something in that you think is a "wow, why did they spoil that for us" type situation.. that "thing" always ends up having something else to it, and makes that point.. pointless. Just sayin' there is more to the time reset..

Clearly because liv said that in the most recent preview. However, I can't argue with that fact that nothing is predictable at all this season. January 16th and 23rd shall be quite epic!

If that's the case, maybe they all die...except for agnes, the laser and gene.

Astro will dream of amber every night after the reset and not know why.
