The dude with the red hair..? You mean, Donald? No, that would be September..

I don't think Michael is Donald's father... where did you even get that from?

I think it's Donald before he becomes September.

If you mean "of season 5" I'll agree.

Still too much questing from point A to B to C for me to make it a 1%er episode.

I think the events of the last 4 seasons allowed September to never be September in the first place.. will be interesting to see how a non-Observered Donald exist.

or maybe the events between season 4 - 5 allowed for this.

I really really wish that OJ and the rest of the Fringe Forum crew weren't so respectful for the West Coast guys..

Man.. you know Fringe has trailed off in it's fandom levels when the TigerDroppings M/TV Board Fringe Discussion is better than the official Fringe forums discussion.. sad times we live in.

ok I just went back and watched it, there is no scene where a wannabe observer red head does anything.. it does a flash with Donald, to September putting on his hat, and back again.

If anyone wants to watch the scene over and over and over and over and over and over again like I am...

ETA: The imagery used to represent Walter's mind switching Universes.. so amazing.

ETAA: This scene shows that everything has been connected, from the very beginning, by September. This has always been his plan.. I guess he's lucky he had such strong supporting cast members.

It's a travel day nationwide... Cut 'em some slack. They're not observers. They cant just hit the teleport to MeMaw's house.

I'm still going with Donald being an anomaly created from the tampering of the timelines and dual realities. Somehow, we now have September who is not an Observer..

That being said, I still think September / Donald is from the future, and we might possibly find out that even 500 years from now, there was still a resistance to what the "Science Team" was doing, and September was a spy, someone willing to give up everything, in order to figure out a way to stop them.

The fact that Michael was an anomaly that was supposed to be destroyed because he had feelings/was an empath... and the fact that September also has the ability to have feelings - These things ARE NOT mutually exclusive. One has to do with the other directly... We just don't know how yet.

what if.. and this is a big what if.. in the future the resistance finds out that the Science Team is working on creating people with the Science Teams abilities, but all of the "children" they create unfortunately are all born with an anomaly and are thereby terminated.

The resistance has a volunteer willing to infiltrate the Science Team, with the goal of locating one of the anomaly's and getting it to the past, when September grabs "Michael".. Michael gives September the ability to feel again, and thereby allowing him to be a little more like Donald, as a member of the Science Team, and allowing him to "hide" his true intentions even better.
