This might be the dumbest game move in a while.
Oh, hey, let me join with a group of five of which I know I am in the minority and can never really control. I clearly don't want to make my own group of 4 and have a 3/4 shot of having another potential ally return.

I think that is her thinking. I said this before, but I guess she figures that she can convince Julia that Austin will never take her to final two, so if Liz were to win the final 4 HoH, Liz would have to put up Austin and Vanessa (unless she is crappy enough to choose Austin over her sister, which she might just be). Then Vanessa can convince Julia to vote Austin out since he will for sure take Liz over Julia.
But to me, that is way too much of a risk. If I was Vanessa, I would've taken this opportunity to vote with Meg & James (it's not like the Austwins weren't flip-flopping all week on which they preferred to go) and keep JMac. Then let the Gremlins and JMac take out either Liz or Austin, and reform the alliance with whoever is left of the Austwins so that you are in a better pecking order in that alliance.

It seems like she's been the main flip flop all week bc of her paranoia and being mad at Steve. Strange for a vote to be up in the air so late in the week.

James and Meh know getting Steve out is the most logical thing for their game if they don't pull the trigger I will be pissed. It's mind boggling that they are still wishy washy.

It would be 5-3 at that point. If Vanessa joins James and Meg to keep JMac, she will be dead to the Austwins.
The only way you get 4-4 is if Steve walks and then comes right back.

I'm so fricking perplexed at Vanessa. She is asking Johnny if he will work with her if he comes back, AFTER IT WAS HER DECISION TO SEND HIM HOME.
If I was him, I would honestly say that that bitch better pray to whatever fricked up god she prays to that he doesn't come back.
I could understand asking him for all the information she is asking him and making deals IF she was still stringing him along with hope, but she's flat out told him he is going home.
