I looked around for a reason she was let go and all I could find was that she was "too british" for the show. I guess Simon didn't want any accent competition.
yeah i'm pretty sure it was because her accent was too thick. i rather enjoyed it and she is very easy on the eyes. i would be thrilled if she replaced j-lo i think she is more attractive than her too

We agree on something

Really though, before I knew she was leaving, I was thinking about how she really seemed to be a good judge.

Will be interesting adding demi and britney. Paula is gone also.

Sounds really good. You ever make these before?

Yes. Not much to them. If the Italian sausage is good, I won't have to add much to them. I stuff the raw meat in with whatever I feel like at the time and just bake them. Very very easy. They look neat since the peppers are red, orange and yellow. They always get eaten up, so I need to make a good bit of those.

Might do etouffee. Maybe a crawfish pie. Probably doing a soup to have around like andouille and corn. Have to roll some olives in cheese straw dough to bake. Those are addicting. My mind is not in cooking mode right now.

Too bad because she was better than Nicole.

I'm glad I'm not watching America's Got Talent. I just can't take that one.

The soup sounds good too. Im not a fan of olives though. Crawfish pie isn't that hard to make IMO so if you find yourself pressed for time, that might be a good option.

Any special desserts planned?

Nicole was seriously bad. She was annoying on the panel because she would never really give fair judgement. She liked to talk down other performers that weren't on her team. She also cried for every performance by one of her performers. Just got old.

I don't make desserts. I don't enjoy making them. I enjoy eating them. I think my Mom is going to make a few things.

I didn't like olives for most of my life. Now, I love them and can eat them like chips. Not crazy about black olives, though.

Crawfish pie is very easy. Going for easy and good for the weekend, but I like to have things on hand that can be snacked on or lunched on at anyone's leisure. There's a crabmeat napoleon salad on the cover of LA Cookin' this month that looks good. Friend of mine already made it and loved it. It will be an easy but tasty weekend.

That sounds so good. I am a fan of almost anything with crab meat in it. I'm going to check out this type of salad.
Definitely sounds like a great weekend ahead for you and your friends.

Louisiana Cookin' is a good local magazine. Pick up that issue or get someone to get it for you. It's worthy. Crab salad is on the front.

YGM.

I haven't eaten all day, so I'm going to hit the kitchen and try to be asleep before 3:30 for a change!

MSB opinions on singers?

Truth hurts. She was embarrassing on the finale.

I'm glad I missed her destroying the national anthem last night. Still means I only have to hear her one more time.
