Official: Deathstroke will be the main villain in Batman Solo Film

Definitely deathstroke, would be a great solo batman villain and a bit player JL enemy.

i like deathstroke. but i'm a marvel guy and don't know him super well. he's kinda like deadpool if i remember? his good guy/bad guy meter depends on who's paying him at the time right?

He's currently filming JL now, so this has to be related to that.

Normally I'd want Deathstroke as a bit player in the JL film, but I trust Affleck and Johns enough to want to see the character showcased in a Batman film.
Either way I want Deadpool to reference it in the DP sequel.

Deadpool is a cheap knock off of Deathstroke because the arse hat that created Deadpool is better known for stealing than anything else.
Granted Deadpool was so bad that he morphed into a parody that made him become beloved. Deathstroke continues to be a poorly used and partily forgotten character that has a strong fanbase because he is awesome when used right (i.e. Identity Crisis).

Yes it was a parody. Liefeld has done his share of artistic swipes, but Deadpool was a parody. The Slade/Wade Wilson naming is a dead giveaway that it was intended as parody.

If this is true, the good news is that the Batman film will be more of a straight-up action superhero film and less of a psychological drama.
I'd also love to see Deadshot show up to help out on either side of the fight.

Yea, I like it. An on screen battle between Batman and Deathstroke will be fricking epic. Also, Umberto is saying that the rumor about the Arkham film is not true.
