I can't recommend many modern horror films, maybe The Descent, Dog Soldiers and VHS. As far as classics..
Texas Chainsaw '74
Eyes Without A Face
Repulsion
Dawn of the Dead '78 (my favorite film)
Night of the Living Dead
Videodrome, The Fly
The Last Man on Earth
Evil Dead
The Beyond, City of the Living Dead
Let the Right One In

I'd also suggest going back and watching a lot of the old Twilight Zone episodes. I did that last October and it really was a blast. Totally puts you in the mood for the month.

WATCH THIS.
came out last march. Beautifully filmed, good throwback feel with a kick arse soundtrack. Not many people caught it, but was a fan favorite on the board here for those who saw it. If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor.

In The Mouth of Madness
Blair Witch Project
Paranormal Activity
I know the last two were huge successes and, consequently, are mocked by many people who think it's not cool to like anything that's popular but both are 2 of the best horror movies made in the last 20 years.

- I can't figure out where all the hype comes from for It follows. It's really pretty to look at, but it's so boring and full of dumb horror movie tropes. I feel like there are way better indie horrors that aren't getting much attention. Movies like the canal and the honeymoon, or even something like Girl House was a better throw back slasher film.

At the best your list is barely decent. The Shining is a must. The Omens are good to great. The Wicker Man sucks. Carrie is a must. The Conjuring sucks. Halloween, though iconic, is incredibly overrated. IT sucks. The Thing is fun. Rosemary's Baby is too slow.
Here are my suggestions for this October to make it both a fun and nostalgic Halloween season:
The Strangers
The Descent
Evil Dead II (1987)
Evil Dead (Remake - 2013)
Funny Games
Texas Chainsaw (original)
Event Horizon
Pet Sematary
Poltergeist (original)
Death Proof
Cabin in the Woods
1408
The Mist
Twilight Zone: The Movie
Pumpkinhead
That list should make for an awesomely fun and creepy Halloween season.

Can't go wrong with original John Carpenter Halloween. Great all around flick that I usually catch around this time every year.
As far as last 10 yrs, my favorite was The Strangers
