If you watched, what did you think about the ending?
Although, it doesn't look like Sameen was really killed.

Not adding spoilers in the title for the mental midgets.

I'm surprised this show doesn't get more play on this board. I really like the show.

I thought last night's episode was really good. It looked like Shaw didn't make it (which the way they did it seemed a little forced), but the previews seem to hint that she is actually still alive. Even if she does make it, I'm thinking someone won't make it out of this 3 episode arc. Carter didn't make it out of the last 3 episode arc. I had a feeling that before the arc started that Root would be the one not to make it, and I think she is still the most likely.

Most definitely forced, and it appears she's still alive.
I tend to agree that Root might not survive.
Her lesbian tendencies were brought on it seems kinda sudden to me. The last 2-3 episodes, all of a sudden she's hitting on Sameen.
That was pretty hot though.
If this show was on Showtime, there'd already be nekid stuff with them two.

I've said in the past here (and elsewhere), that it's my favorite show airing right now. It's constantly great and often surprising.

Root's hitting on Shaw is not a recent thing. She's been doing that from pretty much the beginning. Even was strangely flirty while she was about to torture Shaw in their first scene together back in Season 2.

But yeah, the show doesn't have alot of places online that talk about it, and I hate it. I hate that it's not more popular, but there's nothing to be done about it, except try to introduce it to people that aren't watching it.

In a recent interview on EW, the actress confirms that she's pregnant with twins, which is the major reason for what has happened. Can't do the stunts during this.

Should add Spoilers to the title...

I really like the show and don't think there is any way Shaw can be dead right now. I was getting a little irritated with the simulations last night and wanted to get to the real solution. The chess stuff was boring but gave some good insight to Finch and machine's history and how he taught it things.

Which "trilogy"? The first one last season, or this one (I'm assuming the first one since this one is only one episode into it)? That first one was pretty darn good, and this one looks to be on track with it.

And yeah, the OP needs to put a spoilers tag in the title.

oh, they are starting a new trilogy for the Spring? In that case, I just haven't seen the first episode of the new one... my bad. (to clear things up: over Christmas vacation I caught up completely with PoI, I just haven't seen this week's episode yet)

Yeah, the 1st episode of the new trilogy started last night. It is going at the same high speed as the first one.

I guess your right. I forgot about the last episode. For some reason when they came back from the mid-season break I was thinking this one was the first.

I still watch but I feel it has lost some steam when they lost the machine to Samaritan.

The only reason I'm agreeing with you, is not because I actually agree with you, but because this season in my personal opinion has been WAY to serialized for CBS programming.. and the ratings are going down because of it.

That being said, I hope Nolan has an end game planned, and we get a nice full wrap-up of everything with a nice bow to tie it all together at the end.

I checked this board last night after the show and didn't see any threads on it. POI is my favorite show on TV now.

The Machine scenarios were a little tedious, but I liked how they tied in the Chess games with the situation. I love the Root/Lionel interactions. I would be very disappointed if Shaw was not in the series anymore.

I don't know exactly why this show doesn't get a lot of love on the Movie / TV Board - but at least the ratings are strong, so that's really all that matters.

According to the board CBS is the old people channel.

Great show, started watching it a couple of months ago and am hooked, finally got caught up.

I will reserve how I feel about last night's episode til it shows if it really happened or not, could've been another simulation.

I really liked the episode. Chess scene with harold and the machine was great and the fusco line about the kiss made me chuckle.

If Sameen is dead I won't care too much, she wasn't one of my favorite characters, although she is hot and I will miss seeing her on there lol.

When Carter died that sucked, really liked her character.

Person of interest reminds me of Fringe kind of, has the same feel to it and Abrams had a hand in both.

I think that most people who liked Fringe would like POI.
