zac efron is not only missing the "h" at the end of his first name, but he's also missing a movie that I would ever even think about watching. I literally cannot think of a single movie of his that at any point I debated watching

Eh. I enjoyed Charlie St. Cloud and Neighbors.

That one where matthew McConaughey was a nasty phag wasn't too bad

McConaughey was on the "do not watch" list up until Tropic Thunder, then followed that with True Detective, and he made me a fan with Interstellar. If zac efron can even come close to those, Id be surprised. Im sure he's doomed to a career of charlie st. clouds or whatever else shite he does.

So do I have to be retarded to enjoy this movie or will simply watching it make me retarded?

And in the end Zach Effron will make it as a DJ and it will still be giving the wrong message.

Not saying he should sell out for the corporate job, but there's a fricking middle ground in the real world. It's not "live your dream or die soulless in a corporate office".

I mean, I suppose we could speculate about it all we want, but we have really no idea how it will end. In fact, it may be a pretty straightforward, relatively terrible, movie about a guy who can't get out of his own way until the end when he has a breakthrough. Which can still be good, frankly (see Whiplash).

On the other hand, given what I saw in the trailer and the voice over, it looks like the movie will at least attempt to examine the millennial generation, the fall from naivete that most college graduates face today, and the struggle to find their place in the modern world. So it could be really fricking good actually.

I don't really see any evidence that the movie will say there is no middle ground, that it's either live the dream or live the nightmare, or that Efron will make it. Those are all preconceived notions that you've placed on the movie from your own experiences.

Not saying you're wrong. Just saying that you're making a wild damn guess. Could still turn out to be right, though. I hope you're wrong because it looks pretty interesting to me and I think Efron could actually become a decent leading man. He has quite a bit of charisma on screen.

And no, I'm not a female nor am I homosexual.
