Pretty generic. She's on a mission to get the plans of the deathstar... she gets them. People probably die in the attempt. Vader probably on screen for 23 seconds. Blah.

I have to say I think Alan Tudyk's droid character is going to be my favorite out of all the characters.

Well, that part of the story was already known and told in the OT. If they're staying in the same SW universe, they can't just change up the death star storyline for the frick of it

I don't get the hate either. We're finally getting a "war" movie in the SW universe without the force or lightsabers moving the plot. From the footage we've seen the effects are amazing.

No it wasn't. The only thing ANH told us in the opening crawl was that the Rebel Alliance managed to steal the plans for the Death Star in the rebellion's first major victory. Other than that the story is wide open for telling.

I think this droid is gonna be a badass fighting machine with a bad attitude. Pretty big change from other droids in the other movies.
