New Deathstroke Cast In SUICIDE SQUAD; Hugo Strange & Ravan Also Cast

The photo featured the main cast members including headliners Will Smith (i, Robot), Margot Robbie (The Wolf Of Wall Street),Viola Davis (The Help), Jai Courtney (Jack Reacher), and Cara Delevingne (Paper Towns), and also more or less confirmed the involvement of many other players who had been rumored for parts in the upcoming DC adventure. Additionally, a few mystery parts had also seemingly been cast as previously unannounced actors Ike Barinholtz (The Mindy Project), Jim Parrack (Fury), and Adam Beach (Cowboys & Aliens) were also pictured.
Their roles were seemingly a mystery for an hour or so before Latino-Review's El Mayimbedropped another major scoop shedding some light on how the trio play into the picture. It looks like due to a snag in negotiations (and a convenient decision to go younger with the character), Joe Manganiello (Spider-Man) is out as Deathstroke and Jim Parrack has been selected as his replacement. He also revealed that comedian Ike Barinholtz has been cast as Dr. Hugo Strange and Adam Beach is rumored to have been cast as Ravan.

Yea, I mean I'm more concerned about Deathstroke. It will be interesting. He better train his arse off. He's also 34 and has to be made to look like he's in his late 40s. I guess it's possible, I just think they could have done better. We'll see.

It sounds like they are going to make Slade younger in this movie than he in normally depicted. They better tread lightly with Slade's character since he is such a fan favorite. Plus, you know a lot of people will try to compare him to Manu, and Manu knocked it out of the park with his portrayal of Slade.
But I am really intrigued with Ike playing Hugo Strange. He will probably also be a somewhat younger version than what he is normally depicted as in the comics. But I think in his case, Ike could really put his own twist to the Hugo character and make it really interesting.

He is absolutely great on the Mindy Project as Morgan Tookers . One of the only reasons I take time to watch it.
