Understanding that conflict is always going to happen when two seperate parties are put in difficult situations. But mostly I just want to see smart monkeys doing people things.

At the end of the first one they show a disease outbreaking. Not sure what caused it but a lab guy caught it, gave it to the a-hole neighbor, who was a pilot and spread the hell out of it.
Ahhhh. Completely forgot about that. Still don't remember it.

I'm rarely disappointed in movies with Gary Oldman. I'm excited.

So will this be Conquest or Battle for the Planet of the Apes?
The first of this series (Rise) was a Conquest reebot...this new film (Dawn) could still fall under Conquest type story.
If man and ape team up against man = Battle.

When they injected the Monkeys with the drug, they had to wear special suits to protect them from the gasses/toxins. One of the doctors suits broke, and he was infected. He gave it to the a-hole neighbor who was also a pilot at an airport..and well...

It was awesome watching the film being made in the nola cpb. It looked just like San Fran.

Native Americans bugged the shite out of early settlers who had superior fire power because they were sneaky as shite and knew how to hunt.
Yes. And now imagine if the settlers caught the diseases instead of the Native Americans as it is in this movie.

English translations would be nice.
What also doesn't make sense is the numbers. Assume a 90% death rate of the virus. Still leaves several hundred million people alive. Versus a local band of apes. Even if spread out.

All apes are made smarter as they contact the virus, world wide.
and I think it's a 96% death rate.

Yea that worked out great for them
It didn't work out for the Indians because disease killed them off. The apes aren't the ones dying from disease. The humans are so the humans are the Indians.

People saying that this looks awesome: what?

All of the movies outside of Burton's can technically be connected. In the original timeline through Beneath, cats and dogs died off and were replaced by apes as pets who soon evolved. When Zira and Cornellius returned to the past, they altered the original timeline and apes rose when their son Milo/Caesar led a revolt. I read a theory that connected the current films to this timeline but can't find it. BTW, I take it Oldman is the bad guy in this?

James Franco dogged the shite out of the first movie IIRC.
It ended up being good. Not sure he had any interest after all that.

Franco is a drama queen. Hyper sensitive can't get his way type he throws a tantrum. Shot the faulkner movie here so a few friends got to experience him.

Geez. Movie isn't even out yet and people are picking it apart already.
It is a MOVIE people. Not real life. Everything doesn't have to work exactly the way it does in real life.
