I don't think his logic is all that flawed either. I'm sure in his time he's seen many that started out with good intentions and ended up being corrupted and many weren't nearly as powerful as Superman. No one knows he's this boyscout yet

You may be right, considering a quote from the last trailer:

"30(?) years in Gotham...how many good guys are left? How many have stayed that way? He has the power to wipe out the entire human race..."

I don't understand the problem with height in this discussion. Ben Affleck stands 6'4", Henry Cavill is 6'1", and Gal Gadot is 5'11".

Amy Adams is only 5'4". I don't see what is going on here.

Are you referring to the device he had that could disable guns in Arkham games?

Okay, explain to me some non-jazz hands ways he would disable over a dozen SMGs from 20 feet away without being injured by fully automatic fire from said guns.

Becuase he's Batman! Seriously though he has some super advance tech, is highly, highly trained/experienced, and most importantly it's a superhero movie where logic doesn't always pertain.

So.
I still don't want Batman dancing with some woman that isn't named Wonder Woman and being eye level with her. That doesn't translate to the audience as being a prototypical big macho man.
How can you expect people to look up to Batman when this woman doesn't have to, even though that's a literal look up to?
I see Captain America being ogled by Agent Carter when he first turns into him b/c of his body. I see him rip a stump in half.
You see Jane staring down Thor when he takes his shirt off and when he first becomes Thor. You see Thor rip Iron Man's helmet off like it was a piece of paper.
You see Wolverine constantly flexing with his veins popping out anytime he kills someone.
You see Superman hold up an oil rig with his muscles ripped to shreds.
The fact that Jackman and Cavill have a little hair on their chests makes them more manly looking, and i'd bet most women that don't like hairy chest, don't mind it on them.

Every scene i've seen with the 4 i mentioned without a shirt on, i was impressed, no homo.
Nothing about Bale impressed me physically, and i expect Batman to by physically imposing considering he has no superpowers and doesn't use a iron suit to fight like Iron Man. I don't care that RDJ isnt' big. His suit does the fighting, not him.

I do agree that Reeves was great b/c he was what we imagine Superman to look like, even though he wasn't some ripped up muscle man. He was 6'4" with a chiseled face and a wide frame. He always looked like the biggest person in the room.

Most homo thing I have every read. "No homo" does not change that.

And you were the one posting pictures of said actor posing next to his counterpart female lead to prove your point on him being too short. The fact that you did not admit Anne is a taller girl is what I was pointing out. Those side by side pics have no merit. You could just say they should have casted a shorter women. I think you even called her "tiny" at some point. I may be mistaken as I am not going back and read.

I mean Cavill is what maybe 1 inch taller than Bale?

His question was ridiculous. He first asked why nobody picked up guns and then he asked how he could disable them. I was just trying to see if he knew of anything that could give him a scope of understanding. I understand that that device is nothing like this one. I'm sure it's just a lost cause and he's just fishing. The point is that there was a reason they didn't just pick up a gun and shoot Batman.

And let me guess you don't like Gadot becuase she's too skinny and her boobs aren't big enough? I'd rather have someone that can play part than just look like the part.

Since Gadot has shown how great of an actress she is in her fast and the furious roles

And no i don't like her in that role b/c she's too skinny and has no boobs. I would bet they could have found a fairly no named girl that fit the description they needed and was still a decent actor.
Adrrianne Palicki (mockingbird from Agents of Shield) is 5'11" and actually has tits. Gadot is 5'10"
Rachel Nichols from G.I. Joe is 5'10" with tits
it's not so much the tits, it's just Gadot is as skinny as an Ethiopian.
It's hard for me to think she's got super strength with that body.
See Loki, he's just as strong as Thor for the most part, but they didn't want him to appear like some big bad villian b/c he's more of a coward that hides behind his magic. No need to have some jacked up dude be Loki b/c we don't look at him like a super strong hero/villain.
I liked that Zod was just as big as Cavill. I didn't like the pansy looking leatard Zod from the original superman.

Yeah, I don't think it's a big deal. Camera angles work wonders. Check every dating profile ever for proof.

That is what I said lol. Bale is pretty much the same height and size as Cavill but he is acting like he was a shrimp compared to him.

Really he is acting like he is upset because he didn't turn him on.

What I like about Affleck's Bat is he has the same problem with Superman as a bunch of us viewers do. Especially this superman. He isn't a boyscout. He's brutal vicious juvenile asshat. Despite some loving him and Clark writing puff pieces, Batman sees the truth and Superman has to prove he's the boyscout we all know. We'll see if he succeeds. I like this movie ending with an uneasy partnership and a still very distrustful Wayne.

One of my main problems is Superman in the trailer in the room behind Lex as he juices up Zod. So either Lex pays big time for this shite happening, Lex has a suit able to fight superman and escapes to a secret lair, or superman is incompetent. We even see Lex explaining things to Lois. I have a hard I've seeing where they go with Lex after this movie. He can't hide behind his public persona or ever be liked by the public if the entire public knows what he's doing.

That's more of what i'm getting at. The perception that's given off from Bale's Batman is that he's not that big, mainly b/c he isn't, and b/c the woman they keep showing him with is just as tall as him.
The Marvel and Fox movies make it a point to do what they can to make their big strong super heros look bigger than they are on the big screen.
What we got with Batman, and even Superman is them not really caring about that aspect. It stood out more in Batman b/c Bale isn't that big and Hathaway and Gyllenhaal are 5'9"

If you're a producer of these movies, and you don't think those things matter, you're an idiot.
All i'm saying is women like to look at Hemsworth, Evans, Pratt, Jackman, Cavill, Reynolds. Pretty sure most women didn't walk out of The Dark Knight wanting to see more of Bale.

and i'm not a homophobe. When i see Cavill running with his shirt off after the oil rig incident, i dont' say to myself, "man i want some of that man meat". I say, "damn, that dude is ripped. I wish I had the time, money, will and body type to look like that. I wouldn't want to get in a fight with him"

Then why doesn't Batman use laser fingers?

Because if you give Batman laser hands then he's Iron Man.

Yep, meet too.

I would love to see Nightwing in a movie, if (and that is a huge if) they portray him right. I don't want see Nightwing turned into some sidekick type of role to Batman though.

To get back on thread topic:

Did anyone else catch that Batman hit a dude so hard it made him break dance?

That's my kind of Batman.

The Joker killing Jason Todd really fricked with him.

I cannot fricking wait for the new Batman movies.

I just want to see Under the Red Hood live action. Imagine watching a Rated R brutal live action scene of Joker beating Todd almost to death with a crowbar.
