Nasim Pedrad gone from Saturday Night Live

“I haven’t heard any official word so far, but I love this show so much,” Nasim said of her new show (via Buzzfeed). “I have an apartment in L.A. and, as far as I know, I’m in L.A. now.”
Nasim played many recurring characters on the show, including of our favorites, Shallon, the “student who constantly frustrates people of authority with her position of leadership in the classroom.”
I got it from a place that didn't provide a link but it seems legit.

I haven't watched a lot of SNL lately, but I don't think I would recognize this chick if she walked into my office right now.

It would probably be best if Saturday Night Live kept this current group of women as long as they can.
For the past year or so these gals have really been carried the show and have been much funnier than the men have.
I would say this is the best group of ladies this show has ever had. Yeah I said it.

they can't all be Darrell Hammond playing Clinton. his impression is good.

But even others had them attempting to look like the person, or the cast member had their faces and mannerisms down. Pharoah does a couple of decent ones, but most of the time SNL just parades him (or Kenan) out there because they're black.

there was a period of time in the last 10 years when dressing them up kinda sorta like the person they were impersonating was ALL they did. After they would say "Look, famous person X is here!" it would just turn into them saying really stupid shite. It still happens way more often than it should but they seem to be slowly turning it around.
the bad impersonations really make you appreciate the people like Darrell Hammond who are good at it.
