Looked like he purposely outstretched his fingers to get that affect.

Well, in all likelihood they practiced the maneuver. He also quit taking his anti-inflammatory medication for arthritis so his finger joints would swell.

Plus the gloves were soaked in blood AND he was wearing latex underneath. I would have objected (as a prosecutor) to all of that. If the judge agreed to go forward, I would take a writ. If I lost, and the judge agreed to go forward without all those caveats explained to the jury, I would have taken a writ again.

(ETA: FTR, he was photographed wearing the gloves and the shoes in public settings prior to the murders.)

Also the leather glove being left in the sun for days until it was retrieved had something to do with it. Leather shrinks in the heat bruh

If you were charged with murder, he would have been the first person you would have called.

I lived in Houston at the time, fresh out of college and making them stacks, one of my buddies was in town so we went out to a sports bar to watch the Rockets/Nicks play for the NBA championship.

In the middle of the game OJ goes riding in the Bronco so they interrupt the NBA Finals to show this mess.

I'll never forget it

I have zero problem with JC as it relates to his representation of OJ. He was better at his job than the nitwit prosecutors and they played right into his hands.

Well, if you were black, rich and guilty. Johnny didn't have a "white" card in his deck. He also didn't work for no broke a$$ n----s, neither, certainly not in the 80s or 90s.

Allen probably freaked out when OJ got off
Defense did it's job, even though the way they went about it sucked
Prosecutors made critical mistakes that cost them in what should have been a slam dunk case
Remember though, DNA was new at that time and the other people touching it and mishandling it was big
A north Baton Rouge jury would have acquitted him too

read something today that OJ was originally tabbed to play The Terminator, but Cameron didn't think he'd make for a believable killer

Why?

I figure if he were going to go after Allen he would've done it when he found out he was fricking Nicole. OJ took everything out on her, not another guy that could actually fight back.

If the DA wanted a conviction all he had to do was to have the trial in Santa Monica. But he was more concerned about his own career aspirations.

He stopped taking his anti-inflammatory medicine for his arthritis around that time too.

Vincent Bugliosi, a kick arse prosecutor, did a book on how badly the prosecution bungled it. It is called Outrage, and it is worth reading.
