I'm pretty much completely addicted to Investigation Discovery. Focking Joe Kenda, Rod Demery, Web of Lies, See No Evil, Evil Lives Here, Fear Thy Neighbor, etc. etc.

If I didn't have to work in order to eat and pay bills, I would probably watch investigation discovery every waking second.

I'm hoping it's just a phase. It's not really sustainable as a long term trend.

See No Evil is really, really good. I especially liked that series premiere.

My phase lasted about 2 years, now I can't watch any of that shite. I'm just stricken with grief for the terror of the victims, makes me want to puke.

The actor that plays Joe Kenda was in a real life serious situation, YouTube - PI moms

I saw a 48 hours on this case and was like wow, didn't know that. IRL a good guy.

I think "evil lives here" might be my favorite. I don't know what that says about me.

Joe Kenda is my homeboy, doe. I could listen to that guy talk for hours.

I just watched some back episodes of See No Evil on the DVR. Frick you Mario Garcia. Tell that family where you buried the girl's body. Also the one where the guy killed the doctor in Chicago 5 years after he prescribed the guy Accutane was pretty fricking weird.

My mom watches ID all the time. Hope she's not planning on killing my dad to make it look like an accident.

Loved Dateline on ID, 48 hours on ID, 20/20 on ID, etc..Actual news footage, real interviews, crime scene photos, etc..

Dateline's Keith Morrison is the quintessential campfire story-teller of the 21 Century, imo. For me, he takes over where the great Bill Kurtis left off when he did the Cold Case Files on A&E.

It's hard for me to watch ID now. Got bored with the newer re-created dramas with bad actors & drawn-out scripts that last an hour that should be a 30 min show. Worst one is Missing or Disappeared (I forget the name) where there a person that goes missing, the police/family start searching, and after a ong hour, there is no resolution, nobody is found, which is the same result after the first 5 mins.

I've resorted to just watching the 30min Forensic Files on HLN to get my crime-mystery-realism fix. Love Peter Thomas's creepy narration. Only drawback: just too many re-runs.

If she does, she'll start slipping antifreeze into his coffee. Or hire a hitman.

I used to watch ID alot, but it feels like they're trying to target a different demographic now. Awhile back, it was one gritty show after another, and maybe that scared off viewers....they still air programs like that now, but there's been a growing amount of "couples viewing"-type shows IMO, and they're just too "samey" to me...

I can't stand them, but my wife constantly watches all those forensic and murder shows. And she's always taking notes. Should I be worried?
