I think its because she's constantly been looking for others approval/acceptance. At E-Corp, she thought she was getting that, but in the end no one really accepted her or believed in her. Whiterose seemed to truly believe that Angela was special and would serve a purpose for him/her/it/whatever the correct pronoun is for Whiterose.

Gotta. Love a girl that says suck my dick.

That was a planned shot to stop Elliot but not sure they expected him to survive but I guess he did.

Also gotta love the FBI and their low tech flow charts, but they do still do that.

I don't think Joey killed those two.

Here's a link to an interview with Esmail about season 2 and what to expect from season 3. It's pretty interesting and I think some of you will enjoy. LINK

Regarding your flow chart comment, that is something they teach in lower or middle school when talking about organization. No matter how much technology is out there, putting together a hard copy of a flow chart and visualizing it makes everything easier.

Gonna check out that link. But that finale wasn't much pay off for what was built up. Pretty much the same questions we had at the midway point.

I feel like Esmail is stalling to find more ground.

Probably the real motive to bring Angela into the fold from white rose. He still needs Elliot for whatever is next and Angela is the only one left that will be able to talk to him.

Darlene's is probably going to be murdered by the dark army (which will drive a wedge between Elliot and robot/da). Really what does she know that the FBI doesn't at this point? She knows nothing of phase two.

thats not it. this was just a required part of the story. yes, it was absolutely frustrating, but it was required. sam has pretty much always described this show as a movie. that he first intended to write mr robot as a movie but realized he wrote too much so now we have the show and he views these as acts of a movie. we got the first season and now we had to deal with the fall out. we have gotten through these two acts and now we are moving on to another

i read it as they expected him to survive and the reason why they brought angela into the fold is because she could reach elliot and bring him into the fold

Look like they shot him in the gut but who knows. He did fall to the ground. Mr. Robot started to fade as the pulse slowed down.

I am torn in saying I am not feeling it as far as the seaosn, but it was very entertaining.

The Angela twist has me excited for season 3. That's really the only big thing I took away from this episode. 7/10. Could have been better.

It was a shock to find out how much the FBI already knew. I guess that was pretty unexpected as well.

Rami discussed the stalling part of the show two weeks ago. He said At some points it may seem slow but it's because Sam wants you to really get into the Mr. Robot universe.

Y'all really need to go read that interview I posted above.

Thanks for the link

I thought it was kinda interesting that he referred to the whole season taking the python approach that Dom talks about, and he main characters have no idea.

I like how he said the writers wanted to make it so that the audience feels how Eliot feels. When Eliot is confused, we are confused, like most of the series. But the times when he is clear minded and confident, so are we. That last scene with tyrell and Eliot thinks he isn't real the audience thought he wasn't real.
