In highschool Spanish class we had a pushover teacher that we convinced that watching movies with Spanish subtitles were educational. We watched Dodgeball so many times.

Saw The Ghost & Mr. Chicken in the auditorium at my elementary school. There were at least three spools of film.

Trailer

I'm too old for VHS or DVD's to have been shown even when I was in high school. If we saw any kind of video, it was shown with a 16mm projector.

Each school had a couple of these on rolling carts.

Lived in Mississippi when I was in junior high. Every school in the state made kids watch A Lady Called Camille so people would start taking hurricane warnings seriously.

'84. If we're talking elementary school, Power Rangers, Land Before Time, Ghostbusters 1 and 2, Star Wars, Neverending Story, Secret of Nimh, Fern Gully, Aladdin, TMNT, Hook, 3 Ninjas, that's all I can think of for now.

We watched Where the Red Fern grows, too, but I never paid attention because I had seen it at home and didn't want to cry in front of my friends.
