Movies with really bad ideas/premises that completely nailed it.

Since it was requested.

My vote goes to Hot Tub Time Machine. The entire concept is beyond stupid. There are so many plot holes in the time travel that it makes utterly no sense.

But it's pretty much one of my go to movies when I need to laugh.

How to Train Your Dragon. Dragons are so overdone in fiction.

Good call.

This may sound like I'm joking, but I'm not (it's one of my favorite movies from my childhood): Beastmaster.

I don't think animated movies should count for this.

I remember loving Beastmaster as well.

Not a movie, but Seinfeld pretty much nailed a show about nothing

movies like Whiplash, Social Network, Best in Show, A Mighty Wind are about subjects that I really dont give a frick about and on the surface would find boring, but they are awesome movies

Edge of Tomorrow's premise sounds played out and dumb but is actually really good
