Just 2 modern ones that I can think of:
Skeleton Key - Jazz club scene...accents overdone...middle of nowhere gas station outside of NOLA...Hudson lives in an apt in the quarter
Runaway Jury - Cusack also lives in an apt in the quarter...accents overdone, especially Hoffman...using what appears to be Algiers or some other westbank place as part of "downtown" NOLA (I think it was anyway).
Others? I also recall some horrible B movie that Judge Reinhold was in (late 80's) where he spoke with a Farmerville-like accent and he also lived on Bourbon or Royal or some place. Name of movie escapes me. Bonus to anyone who knows.

Also, Blue Chips...taking the ferry to Algiers to see Shaq play.

Heaven's Prisoners with Alec Baldwin and Hard Target with JCVD come to mind.
I like how in Hard Target, JCVD runs a block off of Bourbon St, and he's in the middle of swamp land.
Pretty much any movie that shows a Jazz Funeral on Bourbon, has a character that knows voodoo, or shows someone saying "chere." I especially hate movies that depict the south as not having air conditioning and everyone sweating all the time.

Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans
Val Kilmer and Sharon Stone's accents = turrible.
Also, Nick Nolte having to hop through Atchafalaya swamp after getting off of a boat to get to Algiers in Blue Chips.

I'm probably the only one on here who saw it, but The Princess and the Frog.
I know it's a kids' movie, but it was the most stereotypical New Orleans movie I've ever seen.

What was the name of the movie with Kim Basinger that was in or around NO? She was red hot in the swamp.

I remember in that movie that Reinhold wouldn't do it doggy style with his wife.

Yeah, but not because we don't have A/C.
ETA: Most movies make it look like an entire office will have one old oscillating fan from the 60's running in the corner.

No mercy was terrible. Didnt they come across a crawfish trap and have a boil right in the middle of the swamp or something?
The Big Easy- "Hey Cheer. How you do? I sleep with my stuff All ah gata"
some other B movie with the guy who played Tarzan. He was a Cajun Cop (wtf is it with cajuns being cops in NO?). That one was bad.
