Movies from the 60's-80's that wouldn't fly today because they aren't PC enough.

Not '80s but Heavyweights for sure. Hell, I doubt James Bond would've even gotten out of the gates.

I don't know. It always seemed to have a good message about being fat and happy, and learning to persevere.

He should have done a Raw 2 for Netflix instead of Chris rock signing on for specials.

Murphy was hilarious and so much has happened in the past 30 years..a special from him would be more anticipated. And tbh I think he still has it in him.

I think you mean Delerious.

That was the really offensive non-PC one where he went off on gays.

Raw was mostly about relationships and how materialistic American women are.

Early '90's but Silence of the Lambs probably couldn't be made today. Could you imagine the reaction to a film having a transgender serial killer. A lot of people were pissed off back then about the subject matter.

The original Get Carter with Michael Caine.

A great movie that would never fly today because of violence, misogyny, and homophobia.)

(Available at the Jefferson Parish Library for JP posters. Netflix also has it but only on disc.)

Actually, to be a technical a-hole, Buffalo Bill wasn't transgender. He believes he is even going as far as to apply for the surgery but he gets turned away from every hospital capable of doing the surgery. It was a pretty big plot point in the book.

Pretty sure all these movies would still get made today.

Sausage Party is an example.

Can't Buy Me Love. The "African Anteater Ritual" scenes would send SJW's into a full blown panic attack mode today........

I think most of these movies (except Blazing Saddles) could still be made today. Hollywood film producers aren't nearly as PC as this thread implies.

In reference to Silence of the Lambs, almost anything is fair game today in genre of horror movies
