Running Brave with Robby Benson as a Native American who makes the US Olympic team as a long distance runner is great, the last race in Olympic stadium was amazing (Tokyo i think) since it was before cgi and the whole scene had to be done in an actual stadium with an actual crowd

How about Prefontaine? Jared Lito, R. Lee Ermey, Ed O'Neill. I think it's pretty solid.

Does Out Cold count? Is drunken snowboarding a sport? If so that is my vote, I can watch that movie over and over.

Anybody seen Touchback? It comes on the movie channels from time to time. Kurt Russell is in it. Its a pretty good movie though.

The Longest Yard (new &original)

Bad News Bears

The air up there

Just a few I could think of.

I never considered that movie underrated...but maybe that's just me, it's always been in my top 5 sports movies.

I recently seen that old Robin Williams film The Best of Times, this was a pretty good sports film (If we can call it that) that I had never heard of and thought it was pretty fun.

This.

I always thought it was overlooked for being as good as it was. Thomas Jane was great as Mickey Mantle.

I'd also like to add the hockey movie Youngblood, with Rob Lowe and Patrick Swayze.

I don't know if it's especially underrated...but I think Hoop Dreams is the best sports movie of all time.

I loved Warrior and The Wrestler. Nolte and Rourke were both excellent in their roles. Friday Night Lights was good too, but it was hard for me to watch at some points.
