The second act of Boogie Nights was showing the harsh realities of the porn industry. The only scene I didn't like from that act was the way Don Cheadle's character gets the money to open his store. Now that was unrealistic. I absolutely agree with your thoughts on Private Ryan though. The opening act was phenomenal but the rest of the movie bored me to tears.

There's a few of you terds I agree with on the regular.... Baloo, Freax, Turkey. A few others.

I agree on PTA. I haven't seen punchdrunk but everything else is long drab and meaningless. TWBB, while beautifully shot, had no story, no arc, no narrative that was compelling.

Except for our Malick disagreement
Turkey, Baloo, SFP, iwy mostly

I'd say Freaux for me. But I don't entirely agree with anyone. I have too many bizarre personal ticks (unreasonable love of Sam Raimi and John Carpenter, hatred of all directors named Anderson, etc)
I agree on Wes and disagree on PT.
Like someone said above, you can never love Carpenter too much. Same goes for Raimi. They obviously are directors who truly enjoy making film.

Probably LSUt81. I don't think I've really ever disagreed with anything he has said on here.

I understand most love for Raimi comes from his earlier horror flicks, but damn, am I the only one that thought those Spider Man movies sucked?

No, I've seen quite a few people around here talk bad about Spiderman 2, which just strikes me as odd. I thought it was a great film.

CocomoLSU. If for nothing else, his prodigious knowledge of all things Saved By The Bell.

I hate Wes Anderson, but I like PTA a lot

Why thank you Lacour. I haven't really kept up with whom I agree with the most. The only poster on here I have grown a complete disdain for is Unknown. I don't see him around anymore and I'm good with that.
I thought I was only known for my Monte Cristo love.
BTW, Manwich is joking about a thread last week where I admitted thinking Britney was hot in her first video when she was only 15. Of course, I was only like 22, so BFD right?

ahh. so here it is

Not too totally jump off thread, but Spidey 2 is IMO the best one. But it does have a really big lull in it. And PP's sweet ole aunt's little speech about how everyone needs a hero was so awesome.

I am equally in agreement and disagreement with all of you.
That's why I like it here.
