I'd say Freaux for me. But I don't entirely agree with anyone. I have too many bizarre personal ticks (unreasonable love of Sam Raimi and John Carpenter, hatred of all directors named Anderson, etc)

Because his movies are long, meandering exercises in mental masturbation that essentially go nowhere. Magnolia was a punishingly awful film, Boogie Nights falls apart in the second act, Punch Drunk Love is probably 30 minutes too long, though I do like it. And I've gone on too many diatribes about how TWBB is an awful movie, so I'll spare you the long version, but the short version of it is overly long and goes nowhere works.

It's called an editor. Hire one.

Yeah, I'd be surprised if anyone had entirely similar likes/dislikes as I do. I have too many ticks. There's always a "I really don't like Saving Private Ryan" moment* with me just lurking in the background that causes everyone to think I'm crazy.

*Love the opening sequence. Hate the rest of the movie.

To clarify, I don't hate PTA (though I do hate Wes Anderson). I just think PTA is grossly overrated. The only movies of his I truly hate are TWBB and Magnolia. I like his other ones, just not nearly as much as everyone else. And, yes, I know I am alone on this.
