Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Was good until the end. I didn't know going into it that it was a half movie.

Dune 2. Loved it.

Dune 2 as well, but my wife and I were a little disappointed.

As she said when I asked her after the movie what she thought about it,

"It was okay..." with her trailing off but never actually saying a phrase that begins with "but" that I thought was to follow. We then had a 10 minute discussion on the way home about what we were disappointed in, and all the things not shown or missing, and how things were different compared to both the book and the Lynch version.

Dune 2. I don't go to movies much but movies like Dune deserve a theater watch.

Dune 2. Saw it by myself since my wife was sick and my kid wanted nothing to do with it.

I saw it in Imax at AMC Clearview. I didn't realize that theatre didn't have reclining seats, so it wasn't as comfortable as I'd hoped. Plus some Jabroni a few rows down from me kept on pulling out his phone which was distracting.

Dune 2. Before that it was the Joker in 2019. Not many movies are worth the ticket prices anymore.

I did really enjoy Dune 2 though. Would like to see it in IMAX again soon.

Spider-Man: No Way Home

Thoroughly enjoyed it, and the reveals were even better with a lot of people there. Best MCU movie since Infinity War IMHO, and one of the top 3.

Man I would really love to say 1917 because I bet that was amazing in theaters. But it was John Wick 4. Just mindless violence but entertaining.

The last time I was in a movie theater was Mr. Holland’s Opus.

The facilities were dirty, smelly, and the audience was crap making it the last theater experience of my life. Not seen ANY ads sparking enough interest to endure that experience ever again.

From what is posted here the theater experience would only be worse now. Thinking about it, maybe those movie theater shooters had the right idea after all?
