Hard to beat Braveheart for me. As far as shocking endings, Oldboy is definitely up there. Seven is also a good one.

I think Gran Torino is up there to.

If you watch it, make sure it's the original. Spike Lee remade it and it was terrible.

I saw it bro it was basically the same fricking movie minus sub titles

I agree watch the Korean if you don't mind sub titles but if yiu prefer not to read them it's not like your missing a lot by watching spikes version

Yea, no. Maybe the concept and the story are the same, but it wasn't nearly the same in quality. The execution was terrible. The acting, cinematography, dialogue, etc wasn't nearly as good. The way the story plays out was completely different. The flashbacks weren't done nearly as well as they were in the original. I could go on. Most importantly, the ending was done differently. It had the same story but wasn't nearly as impactful. DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS GUY. You will be missing a lot if you watch the remake first. Watch the original.

I'm not really sure what you mean by 'dramatic' here but I love the ending of Heat

Out of nowhere... Mom! Dad! It's evil! Don't touch it!
