The old people and the dude behind the dumpster in Mulholland Drive. The "In Heaven" scene from Eraserhead.

A Serbian Film

another film I haven't seen but have read about. Some people think A Serbian Film should be banned.

What is your opinion of the film other than three puking emotes?

It's actually not that bad, for what it is (that's key). There are some disturbing parts to it, no doubt, but if you can get past the pretty absurd premise of it, the movie itself is a decent, solidly-made film.

I've said this before:

My take on ASF has always been the same...it's not that bad of a movie if you can get past the content, but a couple parts of the content may be tough to get past. It's a very disturbing film, but you already know that going in, so it's not like you're expecting Home Alone and you get this crazy shite. In other words, you should already be in the mind frame that you're head is gonna be fricked with before you even start it. Going into it like that, it's not bad (and by that, I mean the production value and acting is surprising...not that they're really good or anything, but I expected like high school film quality). Aside from a couple of parts, it's decent enough. And of course, it is "just a movie." It's not real.

I've said this before, but shite with the Achilles heel fricks with me. Like in horror movies when it gets cut with a knife or scissors or something like that. I'm desensitized to most things, but that one makes me cringe every single time.

Nice pick. I can vividly remember the sound of his teeth initially clicking on the curb. Gives me chills.

Stuff with animals really bothers me. When the dog gets burned alive in the sack in Butterfly Effect. That one got me.

For me its the scene from "The Strangers" when Baghead is in the hallway looking at Liv Tyler while she drinks a glass of water. No music is playing. All you can here is the crackling of the fireplace. Then he disappears
