Darth is not the greatest movie villain of all time. Here are just a few above Darth (and there are more that deserve higher praise):

1) Nurse Ratched
2) Magua
3) Wicked Witch of the West
4) King Edward Longshanks

I was addressing that to posters more intelligent and interesting than you. It was an effort to save this abortion of a thread.

What was most telling to me in the prequels was that I had seen Hayden Christensen in Life as a House with Kevin Kline and it was well acted. Especially on his part. So it was easy to see how poorly written his part was in the Prequels.

You joking dude?

Ratched deserves to be up there and maybe the witch, but probably 8 out of 10 average people couldn't even name the other two.

EVERYONE knows Vador. Everyone.

It's actually become hip to like the prequels now that popular opinion is to hate them.

I see more and more "prequels were underrated" nonsense now that a new movie is out.

Can't wait for the continuing saga of middle earth so I can hear how awesome the hobbit trilogy was.

Lucas,

I was born in 1990 and I never have hated nor loved the prequels. I liked them when I was younger, but now they're okay to me. I honestly am not a huge Star Wars fan, but I saw the Force Awakens at midnight and again yesterday and loved it.

The only thing worse than saying the prequels are great, is saying someone is dumb for not hating them.

I've never seen him in anything else, but I don't blame him for the job he did. He was reading some of the worst dialogue ever written in a green room with only his imagination and a hack director to tell him what's going on. Nobody could have made that work. Hell he even turned Natalie Portman into a shitty actress.

I've always liked the prequels. Each film had fantastic sound design and an excellent musical score. The films were also pretty visually impressive for their era, especially in theaters. The dialogue was bad to awful and the delivery was wooden, but the world surrounding the action on screen was so rich and full of detail that it didn't bother me. I don't feel like the prequels are on par with the original trilogy, but they are pretty good films that I will rewatch from time to time.

I think if Ang Lee's Hulk were released today it would be more accepted for being different than today's superhero films.

It wasn't great, but I don't think it was this horrible film people make it out to be.

Ang Lee's Hulk was and will always be terrible...which is such a shock because Ang Lee is one of the most gifted directors.

Because my phone put an O instead of an E into Vader that is a bad excuse?

And you really couldn't deduce who "vador" was?

You're f-ing ridiculous, and we know from your post history that you can't even claim to be good at excuses.

Still crying over Jhey I see.
