Tried to search for an old thread, but essentially like looking for a needle in a haystack with that title. I vaguely remember this coming out. I watched it last night- anyone else see it? The setting is amazing but man, what a convoluted bunch of garbage. I was thrown off because, being A24, I thought initially it was the same writer of Heredity and Midsommar- and it did remind me a lot of them. But i expected more from Alex Garland.

The ending is…yeah. It’s a film I’m glad I saw but will never watch again.

I've thought about watching this. I'm into weird movies like Beau is Afraid and Twin Peaks, is this anything like that or is it more straight forward?

Pretty odd- it reminded me of Mother! somewhat. I get the metaphors, and in parts it was good. I’d say it’s a lot more straightforward than the 2 you mentioned. It’s on MAX now.

Yeah it was pretty terrible and I’m a Garland fan. Swing and a miss on this one. I can appreciate weird too but that ending was just way out there
