Rewatching 'The Jet Set' right now.
Joy is fricking hot.
Yeah...some great eye candy in these episodes.

Yeah, the chances of that happening are about negative a billion percent.
And I would absolutely loathe that ending too.
I don't need things to be wrapped up in a nice, big bow in order for it to be a satisfying ending. I was a fan of the Sopranos ending (after the "oh frick did my cable drop out?" initial shock ). As long as it's something that makes us think, debate, and really reflect upon it after the fact I'll enjoy it. I don't expect anything less from Weiner at this point.
I feel like we've gotten some solid "closure" from Peggy and Pete's storylines if we don't really flesh those guys out again.

I don't feel like we need to see Pete or Peggy again.
I don't think Don is coming back East. I think he talks to Sally one more time on the phone and that is it.
Or he ends up as a waiter and a black guy is asking him why he smokes the type of cigarettes he smokes.

I really don't see this happening.
Would be very strange after the scene with Betty but then again, the Draper Raper always seems to do the wrong thing when all signs point to him stabilizing his life.

So what will the final song over the credits be, if there even is one?
My top 3 guesses from. 1970 in no particular order:
Fire and Rain - James Taylor
Colour My World - Chicago
Teach Your Children - Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young

I like this one considering what Don may/should become after Betty's death.

They'll pull a " Breaking Bad" and go with "Baby Blue" by Badfinger.

Don hooks up with the Euros he met in Season 3 I believe. The California trip where he ditches Pete. That girl was probably his hottest conquest.
Saw that episode last night. Dear lord that girl is hot.

Apparently, a rumour most likely too amazing to be true and probably apocryphal, that near the end of the final show, the scene dissolves to the future. The phones change tone and the typewriters change, it’s the turn of the millennium. The sky is beautiful, the view from the office clear. It’s a wonderful clear autumnal day high in what is clearly a new sky scraper with incredible panoramic views of New York. As staff silently type on lap tops and computers and wear suits from the 2000s, they’re pleasantly interrupted by the old partners trying to get together for the annual directors meeting. They are all in their 70s, obviously older, all still quite stylish and sharing a joke. Remarkably, despite the lifestyle and stress they are all still alive. Don at 75 is still dapper and even manages to turn a few heads in a Harris Tweed 3 piece suit. Roger is in a wheel chair and still wise-cracking. Then there are screams and a huge smash and crash. They are in the World Trade Centre on 9/11. Eventually Don decides to jump…He dissolves into the infamous falling man at the start of the show.
In all seriousness, this would the worst ending to any piece of art in the history of mankind. The fallout would be simultaneously hilarious and devastating.

Re-watched the episode 'The Mountain King' yesterday.
I loved the character of Anna. LOVED her.
Also, she was doing a tarot card devination for Don. The two cards she made sure to point out was The Sun and The World. What I find interesting is that at the end of every show, the symbol Weiner uses for his company is The Sun card. Anna pointedly told Don that that card means happiness for him.
So I'm kinda hoping that that card has meaning for Weiner via Don and that means we're going to see a happy (though unfinished?) ending for Don Draper. Maybe we already have since Dick seems to have thrown off the burden of Don?

That would be terrible, unless, while Don falls from the building, he's caught mid air by a hobo with a jet pack. They both look at the camera and in unison, say, "Always respect the hobo code."
As they fly away, their jet pack smoke turns into a rainbow. End credits.

A commercial just came on while watching the marathon that had Don looking at his fake purple heart. The voice said "This was the first lie. Watch the last one tonight."
Could this be a clue?

Yeah. That seems like a very vague clue that will make sense after tonight's finale.
