Mad Max in standard theater or 3D (No IMAX for either option)?

I'm pretty mad that I missed it in IMAX. Tomorrowland replaced it on all of the local IMAX screens.
I'll watch it in standard format since the only reason I watch 3D is because it's the only way I can watch IMAX in my area.

It was never on the IMAX screen where I'm at. Avengers, and now Tomorrowland

Looks like standard it is. Now I have to decide if I should just wait until it's available to watch at home, or does the "standard" experience add much for this film?

Standard. Watch it in theaters if you can. I'm not much on 3D and can't tell you how long it's been since I've been to an IMAX movie so I can't give you an opinion on that.

It wasn't FILMED in 3D it was all added in post. The only movies that should be seen in 3D in my mind are movies filmed in it.

Just watched it. It is fantastic. It is the most fun action movie viewing in quite a while for me.
