Eh, I watched Cheers in full for the first time in 2018.
Much deserved. If it wouldn't have been nominated you could have made the same comment in the other direction. It's a great, timeless show.

Breaking Bad wasn't a great rewatch. Great show. But I'm only gonna watch it twice.
But frick, you can turn on any episode of Cheers and have an enjoyable 30 minutes.
Seinfeld is close...but it's almost too Seinfeldy...closed...it's Larry David...
Cheers you don't have to be part of the inner-circle, it's old school sitcom but done better than anyone including Frasier and Mash. Seinfeld just feels like it has a smaller Universe. That little gang so wrapped up in their own world.
Cheers takes place in a bar and almost never ever leaves the bar...yet it feels like the bigger show.
Cheers is probably the best all-around sitcom of all-time just based on every episode and season was consistent.
Seinfeld vs. Cheers. Seinfeld will probably win..but I think best show should be a show more neutral - meaning you don't have to delve into that Universe. It's just funny and entertaining,

Liked Seinfeld but there were better sitcoms since its run.
Cheers is my second favorite half hour comedy behind Scrubs. But if I'm being truthful The Wire is a better show.
Would have voted Scrubs my personal #1 overall
