Luke Cage is comically bad.

Luke is a terrible actor. I'm not sure if it's the writing, his interpretation of the lines/role, or if he's just a flat out bad actor. But it's cringe worthy to me. Granted I've only watched two episodes. The lady cop isn't a great actress either. Pop is pretty good, and the bad guy and the power tripping woman aren't bad either.
Action scenes look like they're from 10 years ago.

Maybe this type of show just isn't up my alley, but I thought the same thing about Daredevil. Borderline terrible acting from the lead actor. Some of the smaller role supporting actors were ok.
I figured I'd like both shows. Loved the dark knight series and some other super hero movies. These just don't do it for me.

Its better than Jessica Jones. The first half of the series was pretty good. I think the actor who played Cottonmouth did a good job. The second half was less interesting..

I'm a big fan of the Marvel TV shows. However, I don't have any interest in watching this one because I found him to be one of the worst parts in Jessica Jones. He was just so boring to me.

I don't mind Mike Colter although you can easily tell this is his first major role. My main issue is the dude playing Shades, holy shite he is so cringeworthy at times.

Yea, his acting (and a good bit of the others in the show) was pretty bad. I enjoyed JJ and DD more, but I stuck through it to see how it was going to tie all of the shows in the future together.

People who are down voting are the same people who think The Walking Dead is tGOAT. It was a bad series with bad acting and equally bad writing.

False. I down voted and i got tired of the walking dead fast, but I can see how the acting level is comparable. Difference is Luke cage is simply telling one story and there isn't likely to be a super long drawn out saga attached to it. Just like I had no interest in daredevil season 2,I wouldn't watch a season 2 of this. One season is good enough.

Supergirl is solid...
Lots of DC characters packed in there, and the girl that plays SG/Kara is a strong lead...
And, Martian Manhunter is a supporting character.
