I'm on episode 10 of season 1. At least I know who doesn't die now
BTW, do they keep with some of the sci-fi mystery stuff (I like), or does it turn into Castaway?
Hate to spoil it for you, but well over 1/2 of those characters are dead. People just often show up in visions like the Claire centric episode you saw.

is it just me or does locke look like the only one that has his back turned?
He is and it seems to indicate the Anti-Jacob or something like that.

More than likely he is based on the conversation we saw to open the Season 5 finale.

I agree, and I refer to the man in black as the Anti-Jacob since we currently don't have a name for him.

the spoilers are the characters in the season 6 poster
the fact that some of them are returning for season 6 is, in fact, a spoiler

They should have never killed Shannon.

One possibility of season 6 is the "reset" button, which some believe won't happen (others do). I wasn't sure how it would be logistically possible because there is no way they can bring back all the old characters.
But having Boone, Eko, etc. in that picture might suggest that there is some attempt at a reset. Or it could just be flashbacks and/or visions of dead people

really, the main thing that I think would be the hardest for them to do the reset thing is Walt.
The actor who plays Walt has aged so much over the past years, it will be impossible for them to show Walt as a 10 year old

They've already covered this. Time moves at a different speed on the island. Remember the episode where Ben shows Jack a video of the Red Sox winning the World Series, which took place two years after the plane crash even though the island time had only been like two months?
Walt was off the island for a long, long time.
I started watching everything again this week. I watched the pilot. I don't think the Jack we see in the pilot was ever on the plane. Just a crazy hunch.

They did it last season.

They basically just allowed Walt to age faster. But we are talking about a reset, where they go back to time zero. Walt should eb the exact same age as season 1 where he looks 10, not 18.

yeah, I was talking about a reset

They aren't necessarily. I highly doubt ALL of them will return. If they did all return as regulars, it would easily be the most expensive television show to make per episode in history (and its near the top already).

Shannon was a hot piece of arse, but could you imagine tolerating her tripping balls through time complaining about everything? I'm glad they killed her.

3 years have passed and Walt was 12 on the Island. He aged as he should have. Reset means that they would start off in 2004, which means Walt would have to be young again.

The Island time is constant with time on the outside world, as in time is roughly the same. What is different though is that there is time altering properties of the Island, most particularly with the barrier to the Island and the frozen donkey wheel.

She was getting less miss princess towards the end. They started to give her some background and hardship that added to her character and I think she could have developed, but yeah mainly she was a hot piece of arse.
