Why are half of them wearing the same armor? Singer's aversion to costumes is annoying. Yes he makes good movies, but this is a major flaw in all of them.

Comics. I've never liked him. He's a whiny little bitch.
Don't get me wrong; I think having him in the comics and movies is important. You need the different personalities, even the annoying ones, to create a sense of reality and drama. I was speaking tongue in cheek.

I'm bias but to me any X-Men movie needs to have Professor X, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Wolverine, Storm, Rouge, Beast and Gambit. Maybe because I grew up addicted to the kids show in the 90s, but that's my essential X-Men crew.

Nightcrawler's my favorite X-Man, glad to him in there. I wish they would have brought back Alan Cumming, he nailed the role in X2 imo.

Like 90s Cyclops or 2000's Cyclops?
Cyclops was awesome until they brought in Wolverine, and then yes, he became the very classic whiny, uptight leader guy. See the 90s.
But once you get to New X-Men, Whedon, Bendis, etc. he becomes awesome. Like GOAT. One of the few comic book characters really allowed to change over time.

Mine too, and yes Cumming was awesome in the role. I like the guy they have for this one, so I'm hoping he does a good job.

In the comics, yes. Azazel and Mystique are his parents. Who knows what they will do with this. They've already introduced Azazel in "First Class," so maybe they find continuity somewhere? I doubt it though.

Looks like they are going to have to recon his parentage since it would be pretty hard to believe that he is her son considering their ages in the movie.
Also, won't that armor suit that Mystique is wearing kind of hinder her being able to use her ability?
